This Privacy Policy explains how Accuracy Accounting Suite — operated by Abubakar, a sole proprietor based in Lahore, Pakistan ("we", "us" or "our") — collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website and the Accuracy Accounting Suite platform (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile data — name, email address, company name, role and login credentials.
• Customer Data — the accounting and business records you and your users enter or upload (contacts, invoices, transactions, documents, and any personal data they contain).
• Billing data — handled by Paddle (see section 4). We receive limited transaction details such as plan, country and partial payment metadata, but not full payment-card numbers.
• Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and actions taken, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications — messages you send us through support requests.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to: provide, operate, secure and improve the Service; authenticate users; process subscriptions and billing (through Paddle); provide customer support; send service, security and — where permitted — marketing communications; comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations; and detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Legal bases (where GDPR / UK GDPR applies)

We rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service; your consent (for example, certain cookies and marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details directly under its own Privacy Policy. We do not store full payment-card data on our systems.

5. Cookies

We use necessary cookies to operate the website and, where applicable, analytics and preference cookies to understand and improve usage. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

6. Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate contractual protections, including:

• Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting and database infrastructure.
• Paddle — payment processing and billing as Merchant of Record.
• Email and communication providers — to deliver service and support messages.
• Government tax authorities — where you enable e-invoicing (for example, Pakistan's FBR), the invoice data you submit is transmitted to the relevant authority as required for compliance.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect our rights, users and the public.

7. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect personal data transferred internationally.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and then for any period required by law (including tax and accounting record-keeping) before deleting or anonymising it. You can export your data at any time.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and reputable cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@accuracyaccountingsuite.com. Where we act as a processor for Customer Data, requests from data subjects should be directed to the relevant account holder (the controller).

11. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and notify you of material changes where appropriate.
